Dial S for Summer
YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY A BUNCH OF NEW STUFF! HERE ARE 10 things to keep you on track.
This summer, less is more.
SUMMER HAT. If summer were a club, the floppy hat would be a founding member. I opt for a wide-brim hat to protect my face and neck, and the Janessa Leone Waverly does just that.

MINI SHORTS. There is something so sexy about a mini short in the summer.
CRISP WHITE TANK. A white tank is one of those underrated summer heroes that complete any outfit. Some of my favorites are tank air, Hanes $10 boys' tanks, Flore Flore V-neck (and the Zara dupe), Wardrobe NYC tank, and the Coucou+ tank.

BUTTON DOWNS. Stripes, bold colors, + white linen. I live in a cotton button-down all summer; it’s an easy way to add color or texture to an otherwise simple outfit.

GOOD BATHING SUITS. There's nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in an ill-fitting swimsuit, so investing in a good one you love is worth it. My go-to is the Eres Triangle Bikini, but Topic of C and Skims make a great triangle bikini as well for half the price.
SUNGLASSES. Big, round, sporty, and 90s.
BALLOON SHORTS/PANTS. I have been wearing these balloon shorts in all three colors, and nobody can believe they’re from Zara! I've also just ordered these pants, which I’m eager to style with an open-back halter for a night out.

BEACH TOTE. Wear to work, the beach, the farmers market. These bags are versatile all summer long.

BEACH SPRAY. Natural hair is in. Add a little salt spray and hair oil for an effortlessly cool/homeless chic vibe.
NATURAL MAKEUP. (that has SPF!) Saie Glowy Super Gel, Supergoop Glowscreen, Beauty Pie Tinted Skin Glow Serum, and Chanel Water Tint are in my makeup bag rotation for the summer.
