QUICK NYC GUIDE TO AVOIDING SEED OIL

One of the main reasons I cook and eat at home so frequently is because I can’t get the ingredients I want in restaurants. For example, most salad dressings contain canola oil. It’s truly fucked up. Especially when you are in a restaurant charging twenty dollars for a salad.

One place that particularly pisses me off is Pastis. Everything on their entire menu contains canola. Like even the fucking roast chicken!

I was also alarmed to learn that the dressing at St. Ambroseus also uses seed oil. This place has such clean food otherwise so it really makes no sense.

I’ve done some serious digging… (like, you don’t even want to know how I uncovered most of this info bc it has involved disguises, fake identities, and even bribery) and put together a quick list of places to enjoy that don’t do seed oils.
