THE STRANGERS
When we first met, I struggled to understand Danielle's true nature. She felt slightly standoffish and withdrawn. She and her friend, Allison, were both extremely polite and amiable; however, there were moments of silence, lulls in our first few conversations, that made me worry I wasn’t living up to their expectations, or worse, they had no expectations because they didn’t know who the hell I was!
Neither Allison nor Danielle were long-time followers. Danielle, who had only recently discovered my JMB vintage site, donated to the Kenya Education Fund without realizing she had entered a raffle.
