Every week for my assistant is somewhat of a “choose your own adventure” book. Sometimes she starts her day, thinking she’s escorting me to a television show, but she ends up in a basement on 47th St. haggling with a cad maker about a vintage pendant I want to recreate. Other times I make her fly with me to Israel, sit with me in dry saunas, hold my hand as I get my face lasered, and talk to me on the phone when I accidentally get lost while driving.

This week I asked her to help me create a scavenger hunt for the kids around the West Village. Sid was an asshole afterschool on Thursday so I knew I wasn’t going to be giving him his Ipad. I also didn’t want him spending his Saturday sitting in front of the TV sneaking YouTube. Lazlo had a friend sleeping over and without an activity, I knew the apartment would quickly devolve into Lord of the Flies. This is what we came up with.

(FEEL FREE TO STEAL THIS ENTIRE HUNT )

Starting Point: Cowgirl

• Clue 1: "Welcome to the start of our adventure! Head to a place where cowgirls and food unite! Once you're there, the baby in the bee suit has your clue!

Where to go next: Head towards the baby in the bee suit.

Clue 2 (handed by the baby in a bee suit): "Sweet as honey, you're almost there! Your next stop is mom’s favorite place to get a salad. Look for a muffin—it's waiting with a clue inside!"

Next Stop: Bonberi Market, find the muffin with the clue.
