First, I love traveling to Asia because jet lag is never as bad. Seoul is thirteen hours ahead of New York, enough of a time difference that if you stay up when landing, you have done a perfect 180 flip.

After getting up at five a.m., going to the gym, saunaing, and ordering breakfast in my room, it was about eight thirty a.m.

I met my friend Hanah, who was eating downstairs at the most insane buffet complete with Korean street food, chocolate fountains, Korean stews, fruits, eggs, sushi, and of course, a bakery to make even the most gluten-sensitive break their vows of celibacy.

Along with her hot mom and truly adorable daughter, Ava, aka my new favorite kid, we walked to see the old part of Seoul where the president lived, known as the "Blue House" or Cheong Wa Dae, located in the Jongno District, specifically behind Gyeongbokgung Palace.

After that, we went to Olive June for my first beauty haul. Since I didn’t sleep on the flight over, I spent fifteen hours being influenced by Korean beauty experts and had a list of screen grabs that I used to guide me through the store, like a scavenger hunt.

After shopping like I was on the precipice of another global pandemic, I discovered that everything I purchased was also available online.

The full haul list is coming soon. But here is a peek at my new nighttime routine.
